Jim is the managing partner of Moorman, Harting and Company and has overall responsibility for the firm's professional services. He is also the Champion Partner for Moorman, Harting Financial Services, Ltd.  He is a certified public accountant, a financial advisor and is insurance licensed for long term care, disability, life and annuities.  Jim is a graduate of Marion Local High School and the University of Dayton with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.  He specializes in providing tax and accounting services to a variety of businesses.   Jim works extensively with various types of entities including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and sole proprietorships.  He helps you plan to minimize your taxes and meet your financial goals through proper investments.   Jim provides services to businesses to establish pension plans appropriate for them and provides implementation strategies.  He specializes in reviewing and analyzing company buy-sell agreements.  He attends many continuing professional education courses to insure the highest possible level of service to our clients.  Jim is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and Ohio Society of CPA's.  He is involved in various organizations and is past president of the Coldwater Lions club, and has served of treasurer and as a trustee for the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.

Alan is the manager of the firm's Celina office.  He is a Marion Local graduate and has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Wright State University. As a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Ohio Society of CPA's, he attends continuing professional education courses designed to insure a continued high level of service to the public. Alan has signifigant tax and accounting experience with a variety of business and agricultural clients. Alan provides accounting and tax services for a number of businesses, including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and sole proprietorships.  He is insurance licensed for long term care, disability, life and annuities.  He is also a financial advisor who can help you reach your financial goals by setting up proper investments.  Alan was the Marion Township Clerk for twelve years.  He is involved in many organizations such as Treasurer of Marion Combined Charities as well as a past Treasurer and Trustee for the Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.

Randall L. Kaup, CPA is a graduate of Coldwater High School. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University, with dual majors in Accounting and Finance.  Randy is a Certified Public Accountant and a financial advisor.  He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Ohio Society of CPA’s.  As a member of these professional organizations, Randy attends many continuing education courses to ensure the highest level of service to his clients.   He specializes in agricultural and small business tax planning and preparation.  As a part of our professional staff, Randy provides accounting and tax services to a variety of individuals, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.  Randy is also a member of the Coldwater Jaycees, Coldwater Lions Club and Coldwater Chamber of Commerce.  Randy provides professional service out of the firms Coldwater office.

Marlene E. Gagel, CPA

Marlene is a graduate of New Bremen High School and has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Wright State University. She has practiced in public accounting for over twenty years.  As a member of the Ohio Society of CPA's, she attends continuing professional education courses designed to insure a continued high level of service to the public. She has significant tax and accounting experience with a variety of business and agricultural clients. Marlene provides extensive, proactive tax and financial accounting and tax services for a number of businesses, including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and sole proprietorships to minimize taxes and meet financial goals.  In addition to being a certified public accountant, Marlene is also a financial advisor and is insurance licensed for long term care, disability, life and annuities.    Marlene is also a member and has served as a trustee of Coldwater Kiwanis.  She is the treasurer for Cub Scouts Pack 97 and the secretary for the St Rose Ladies Sodality.  Marlene provides service at the firm's Coldwater and Celina offices.
