Jenny Brookhart Becomes an Enrolled Agent

Moorman, Harting & Co., a certified public accounting firm with offices in Coldwater and Celina, is pleased to announce that Jenny Brookhart has become an Enrolled Agent.  She became an enrolled agent by passing an IRS examination and meeting their experience requirements.  An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of practicing, that is, representing taxpayers, before the Internal Revenue Service.  Enrolled Agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants, are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can practice before. 

With over 15 years of experience, Jenny has provided tax and accounting services to a large number of individual clients and businesses, including partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies.  She works out of the firm’s Coldwater office.

Jenny resides in St. Henry, Ohio with her husband Todd and their three children.

         Elaine Harting

 

 

 

In September, 2010, Elaine Harting celebrated 15 years of dedicated service with the firm.  In her 15 years, Elaine has provided quality administrative services for our firm.  Elaine provides the internal accounting services for the firm.  She works out of the firms Coldwater office.  Her longevity with the company is another indication of the quality staff that Moorman, Harting & Co. provides for our clients. 

Elaine and her husband Jim, reside in Coldwater Ohio.  Moorman, Harting & Co. congratulates and thanks her on 15 years of loyal service to the firm.

 

    Marlene Overman

 

 In September, 2010, Marlene Overman celebrated 15 years of dedicated service with the firm.  In her 15 years, Marlene has provided quality administrative services for our firm.  Marlene coordinates all firm scheduling, maintains the firms’ database and performs many other various administrative tasks.  She works out of the firms Coldwater office.  Her longevity with the company is another indication of the quality staff that Moorman, Harting & Co. provides for our clients. 

Marlene and her husband Joe, reside in Coldwater Ohio.  Moorman, Harting & Co. congratulates and thanks her on 15 years of loyal service to both our clients and the firm.

Moorman, Harting & Co., a certified public accounting and financial services firm, proudly announces the recent hiring of Jenny L. Gaerke.  This represents the Company’s commitment of providing a quality staff to provide professional services.  Jenny is a graduate of Marion Local High School and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University.  She brings to the firm experience in accounting and taxes.  Jenny will be providing individual income tax services and will also be assisting in the financial services division of the firm.  She will be working out of the firms Coldwater office.  Jenny resides in Ft. Recovery with her husband Jake and their three children.


Mandy Otte

 

 Moorman, Harting & Co., proudly announces the recent hiring of Mandy Otte.  This represents the Company’s commitment of providing a quality staff to provide professional services. 

Mandy is a graduate of Marion Local High School and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.  She brings to the firm experience in accounting and taxes.  Mandy will be providing individual income tax services and will also be assisting in the financial services division of the firm.  With her extensive professional education and experience, Mandy will provide personalized service to the firms’ clients.  She will be working out of the firms Celina office.

Our firm’s value proposition emphasizes that through extensive professional education and experience we utilize comprehensive business planning strategies and wealth care management services.  As a commitment to upholding our firm’s value proposition, Jim recently attended the 2009 Eagles Executive Forum.  It was hosted by 1st Global Capital Corp. and designed to provide top-level executive education for champion partners and directors of financial services.  The forum revolved around a few main themes:  retirement income planning, succession planning and valuation, market volatility and sustainable income solutions.  It also provided networking opportunities with many of the investment companies that our firm utilizes in offering comprehensive wealth care management services.

 In addition to attending the 2009 Eagles Executive Forum, Jim was also able to attend a portfolio and investments conference.  The conference was able to provide valuable updates on the following:  fixed income investing, municipal bond investing, core equity investing, small cap investing, international investing, and value opportunities.  The conference also provided an economic overview update.  Jim was also able to attend sessions on IRA/beneficiary reviews and college savings plans.
